Black Hat SEO techniques
Post by: Str_0ke
Breaking captchas, domain kiting, data mining, hoax marketing, XSS vulnerabilities are all BH SEO related, so I mean if you know those you can pretty much use BH SEO whenever. Otherwise don't use it at all. I'm always jumping the gun and telling people to go with BH SEO because it makes life that much simpler but it's not really the case...

What's one attainable "black hat" technique?
Post by: milly
Something anyone can practice is keyword squatting. Keyword Squatting is not widely used or known of in the BH community. It is however VERY effective.

What you do is find a keyword or key phrase, somewhat related to your product with about 300-600thousand search results. Start like this then increase the keyword/keyphrase popularity as you get better at it.

What you do is you note down the top 3 or 4 sites for that keyword/keyphrase, then you blog about them.

Rank your site for their keyword and their url (whateversiteitis.com) and leach off their traffic. This can be easily achieved if you have an authority blog of pr3 or higher....

Understanding Splogs
Post by: Will.Spencer
Splogs, or spam blogs, are automated blogs that receive RSS feeds and publish them as blog posts.

To create a splog, install WordPress and one of the RSS plugins. Here are a few of them:

* FeedList
* SmartRSS
* FeedWordPress
* WP-Autoblog
* WP O'Matic

These plugins all seem to be low-quality, so expect some technical grief in getting them to work.

Then, just enter the feeds that you want to reprint.

Original Spam Content
Post by: Str_0ke
Over the years I have used Spam content without any problems, believe it or not. None of my sites with Spam Content (original spam content) have ever been penalized due to them being of spammy nature.

But I have always done this manually, which can be time consuming, no let me rephrase that, which is time consuming. So here's what I'm thinking, a script that generates original spam content based on my own original articles which I feed into it. Every 5 articles I feed into the script, 300 original spam articles are spewed out. A little php function and the content is slapped onto my sites with ease.

Website Planning - Website Technologies
Post by: S Emerson
The website technologies required will depend on the type of website you are building and what type of audience you have decided to target and accommodate. This is not an exhaustive list, just some things to get you thinking.

E commerce
-Are you hosting your own shopping cart or using a third party shopping cart?
-How are my visitors going to pay for the merchandise?
-Does my web host have secure servers or will a third party service be required?
-How is shipping to be handled?

Communication
-How many e-mail accounts are required?
-Do you need Auto Responders?
-Email forwarding?
-Is there going to be a mailing list?
-Should the website include a guest book, forum, bulletin board, chatroom or blog or use a third party for these features? ...

Good domain names / Targeting your buyers
Post by: Ashaw
A good name isn't limited to one word dictionary terms, or short 3 letter domain names. Though its a good idea to keep your domain names simple, and meaningful... If you target the right markets and your domain name can be found useful to someone then you have a good domain name.

One thing you HAVE to know about this business, is that market values of domain names have NOT hit their full potential yet. As I have said before, One domain name regardless of what it is, can only be registered to one party. This creates your demand. The more demand for your name or names, the more success you will find in this business.

Its a good idea to target markets with a wide range or perspective buyers. Buying a domain name like GarysLayouts as opposed to SimpleLayouts will yield you a much smaller pool of perspective buyers, as you have limited your target to a specific person or thing. Keeping a broad target will give you a better chance at closing more sales faster....

Random SEO Blog Post

BlackHat Code
Quad always has something informative to rant about, and this time he brings up a good point which is, there really are no advanced White Hat SEO techniques. I like to think white hat techniques consist of simply backlinking, writing unique content and complaining about blackhats, because that’s all Matt does these days.

To me there really is no such thing as White Hat SEO, all it is, a bunch of people following the guide lines set forth by Google, a company they’re trying to rank with… For us, the minority, the so called outcasts, we simply think outside the box, we aim to succeed in whatever way we can, we bend every rule or guide line thrown our way, sometimes we end up breaking them but it’s not like we’re bad people or even criminals, we’re really not...

Random Blackhat Domain Blog Post

Keyword Squatting
Keyword Squatting is a techniques used to help BlackHatters funnel traffic. It focuses on targeting weak keywords as well as new domain names. An example of Keyword Squatting is a recent post by Str_0ke, our very own SZ trouble maker about Random Gossip, where he attempts a sneaky keyword stomping tactic on another one of our very own admins, Eva. It’s messy I know! So how do you use keyword squatting, or better yet Domain Squatting and take advantage of new domains the blackhat way? Apart from checking the whois and cross referencing all reg’d names by that individual there is no way we can tell which domains will be a hit, and which wont but you can almost be 100% sure that the domain owner will try to get traffic to their site, so why not rank for their domain name?

Random BlackHat SEO tip

Work a little on getting yourself some nice links here and there, fix up your content, then when that's all done get down and dirty.

Make a list of your closest 20 competitors, find a nice proxy to hide behind, pay for one I say, much safer and still untraceable, go around and cause havoc for the 20 companies you picked, be it by AdWord clickity clicking using SCF or by spamming their links and losing them credibility.

You could even buy some domains using //cloaked details, get someone to buy them for you, loads of ways to do this without being linked to it, rip the competitors sites content and stick it on that new domain then spam it and stupidly ask google to reindex it, do it a couple times.

$10 a company will leave you at $200 to knock out 20 competitors from competing with you.
